What to Bring

• Basic recovery gear (snatch strap, shackles, etc.)

• UHF radio (80 channel – handheld or vehicle mounted)

• Camp chair (for lunch stop)

• Appropriate clothing (weather can change quickly)

• Lunch, snacks & drinks

• Plenty of water for you and passengers

• Hat & sunscreen

• Full tank of fuel

Note: One full tank of fuel is sufficient for the day.

Vehicle & Driver Requirements

• One Rated recovery point

• Vehicles must be registered and roadworthy

• Drivers must hold a valid licence

• This is an easy to moderate trip, however drivers should have basic 4WD experience.

• No bypass tracks are available, and water crossings are included.

Insurance Requirement

• Comprehensive vehicle insurance is required for all participating vehicles.
